Q1. What is the purpose of NCNA?
A1. NCNA provides a forum for members of the community that live thousands of miles away from their native Chettinad. It provides a venue for children to meet each other, understand the Nagarathar culture, share ideas and collectively participate in traditional celebrations and community activities. To continue the tradition, we believe that NCNA will help members think globally and act locally. Through organized events the Association emphasizes the importance of Nagarathar culture, heritage and tradition. Immediate plans are to involve the youth in community projects and long term plans are under consideration
Q2. I'm interested in volunteering for NCNA activities, can I get some info?
A2. Yes, we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support NCNA activities. Use the contact page to let us know about yourself and the specific NCNA activities you're interested in
Q3. I'd like to donate to NCNA's cause, how can I contribute?
A3. Use contact form and write to us for further info on donations
Q4. Can I submit original or sourced content via eNCNA.org?
A4. Yes, email us your content to [email protected] for review

A5. You can share any of our webpage on social media by copying the URL. We are in the process of enabling direct share from the website

Q7. Who pays for annual events such as Pongal, camping and Deepavali?
A7: These events are self supported by gate collection, paid for by the attendees.
Q8. What are the causes supported by donations from community members?
A8: Immediate plans are to support our middle and high school children with matching funds towards community projects initiated by the children. It will encourage them to be involved in charitable work and also help gain credit in school and in prospective college education application. Long term goals are to retain reserve for a nagara viduthi, and/or other causes to be determined by the community.
